'Walking Into Kastron'

On a trip to the Greek Islands I came across this peculiar yellow bush growing out of the top of an old building in the heritage town of Kastron on the island of Sifnos. The high heat of the day dazzled our eyes and we were quite hot by the time we had walked from Apollonia. As we entered this ancient town, perched high up above the Ultramarine Aegean, we welcomed the shade, and marvelled at the incredible maze of a town.
Prismacolor pencils are so easily blended, and allow the rendering of stone with ease.
