'Homewards Through Woodford'

A very familiar road, this sunset view catches the distant low ill on the fingertip of the Bellthorpe Range in South East Queensland, where the Woodford Folk Festival is staged each year. The lush early summer growth is vibrant in the golden light of another warm and delicious hinterland sunset. These studies of my local landscape are drawn upon to inform my larger, narrative works.
