I was drawn to this image by the beautiful jewel-like quality of the lime green sunlit grass areas and the cloud shadow that plunged the middle ground into semi darkness. The distant Deer Reserve mountain is pushed way back by higher values, and the mild, pale blue sky helps to place this image as a late summer moment. The jewel green colour was a challenge to achieve in gouache, which is typically opaque, rather than translucent.
 
All Prints are available Framed in a White, Black or Moccha (woodgrain) frame with a white matboard, or Unframed. Unframed prints are dispatched in a cardboard tube.
