The muted blue of the D’Aguilar Range caught my eye as I was driving by on a late summer afternoon.
Long after rain passes through the Somerset region it lingers on the range that separates the area from the coastal fringe. On the day I spied this view, the lemon yellow thunderheads were carrying the storm out to sea, picking up the afternoon sunlight, while the drifting overhead clouds held moisture. The diagonal of the tree-lined creek was an integral part of the image.
