Work History

1982-1984

Outside School Hours Care Art Teacher, Newmarket State School. During this time, I

created several commissioned pieces for family and friends, which convinced me that I

                   could become a professional artist.

1985-1990

                   Herron Studios, Pullenvale

Working with then partner (framer) specialising in attending art fairs, markets and

events, and producing house portraits featuring Brisbane’s many iconic heritage homes

and other works, as well as the major work of producing the hand lettered and

illustrated Squirrel’s Cook Book III (1989), and extensive art projects for city hotel

renovations during and after World Expo ’88.

1988 - 1992

                   students.

1992

Artist, Out of The Box Festival

1996 onwards

The Local Bulletin is an independent monthly publication of 40-64pages, based in the

Western Suburbs of Brisbane. The role I hold entails a thorough understanding of

Adobe Indesign and Photoshop — skills I regularly incorporate into my art practice in a                       preparatory manner prior to painting — and has allowed me to develop time

management skills in a creative setting, through the  need to work with deadlines.

                   This work is ongoing.

2009 - 2014
